His funeral was held last week and was taken by Bishop Kay Goldsworthy at St John's Anglican Church, East Malvern.
The Warden of ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØappCollege, Professor Andrew McGowan, was appointed to his first curacy under Ron as parish priest.
Ron was a very experienced worship leader who helped write our current prayer book, A Prayer Book for Australia, and was a leading figure in worship studies; he also taught worship in the Theological School and at the United Faculty of Theology (UFT).
The ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵÏÂÔØappcommunity was shocked and grieved by his unexpected death. He will be a great loss to the Theological School and to the UFT.
